Ransome Ware Attack

 

Ransomwares are basically malwares only.

Properties:

A ransomware is a malware that after entering your pc starts encrypting all the files that you have.

Ransomware also starts taking you administers access.

Also, you might get a readme file stating a message that "All your data is safe you need a decryptor tool to decrypt your files all you need to pay $1000 to us for the decryptor".

If you have turned-off Real-time protection then ransomware will not allow you to turn-on it again. 

I uses a lot of resources your pc may heat up.

It will install lot of unwanted applications.

I may hack your Instagram or Facebook if you save your passwords in chrome or any browser.

How to save ourselves from this deadly attack:

Purchase a licensed antivirus from a well known company like Kaspersky, Bit-defender etc...

Keep you system up to date.

Never turn-off Real-time protection in your pc.

Do-not download anything from torrent.

Ways to enter in your pc:

1. Through torrents.

2. Through e-mails.

3. Through suspicious link.

What can be done once you are infected:

Immediately turn of network (wifi or lan)

Restart your system in safe-mode and try to find the suspicious file and delete it.

Note: If you are attacked then forget about your data you may not able to recover it.

Special Practices:

Turn Back-up and store on in your windows as this can be helpful.

Never save passwords or payment options in chrome or any browser keep clearing your browsing histories.
